The rescue expressed gratitude for the meeting, which provided a much-needed lift during a challenging week marked by the loss of one of their rescue animals, Bear, and the hospitalization of another.
"Today, our pups were showered with love by Billie Eilish and her amazing team," the rescue shared on Facebook. "It’s inspiring to see an artist with such a significant platform using it for good—to help animals and make a difference in the world."
Photos posted by the rescue featured Eilish and her brother, Finneas, spending time with animals from Brighter Days Dog Rescue and Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary, including a miniature horse named Sampson.
A source from Brighter Days Dog Rescue noted that Eilish requested to interact with the animals at Ball Arena, a common practice for her and other artists as part of pre-show routines.
