McDonald's is giving the Grinch a break from stealing Christmas by featuring him on Happy Meal boxes. Launched on November 20 in the United Kingdom, the Grinch Happy Meals will be available there until December 31, according to McDonald's Happy Meal webpage.
The webpage invites families to "See The Grinch™ on the box, looking your way, inviting your little one to come and play," and includes a pop-out Santa hat for added fun.
The promotion also features plush toys of the Grinch and his dog Max, along with three different card games.
The buzz around this limited-time offer has sparked curiosity about whether the Grinch Happy Meals will make their way to the U.S. this holiday season.
As of now, there is no official release date for the Grinch Happy Meals in the U.S. However, McDonald’s has previously brought international promotions to America, such as the Chicken Big Mac, which first debuted in the UK and Ireland in 2022 before arriving in the U.S. in the fall of 2024.
