Raúl Jiménez Scores Twice to Secure Fulham's Draw Against Ipswich Town
Raúl Jiménez netted two penalties as Fulham fought back to a 2-2 draw against Ipswich Town in the Premier League on Sunday, extending the host’s unbeaten run to eight league games.
The match saw both teams convert penalties in quick succession. Jiménez equalized for Fulham in the 69th minute after Sammie Szmodics’ first-half strike put Ipswich ahead. However, Ipswich regained the lead through Liam Delap, who capitalized on a foul by Timothy Castagne.
Jiménez then earned another chance from the spot in the 90th minute when Leif Davis fouled him, allowing Fulham to rescue a point. Ipswich, sitting in 18th place, missed the opportunity to climb out of the relegation zone for the first time since November.
Fulham, unbeaten since November, remains in 9th place with 30 points, while Ipswich moves to 16 points, level with 17th-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers, who have a game in hand.
