If you're planning to attend Donald Trump's presidential inauguration and you're traveling from Delaware, here’s a guide on how to get there

Donald Trump will be inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States on January 20, 2025, and if you’re a Delawarean eager to witness this historic event, here’s how you can attend.

Senator Chris Coons' office is offering up to four tickets per constituent for Delawareans who wish to be at the U.S. Capitol for the inauguration. If you’re selected for the free tickets, you will need to pick them up from either his Wilmington or Washington office. Note that these tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to apply early. The deadline to pick up tickets is Friday, January 17.

Unfortunately, ticket requests through Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester’s office are not available. According to the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, over 220,000 tickets will be distributed across the nation.

For transportation to the event, The Rally rideshare service is offering buses from Dover and Newark to Washington, D.C., on Inauguration Day. The round-trip fare is $95 from Dover and $100 from Newark. These buses provide a convenient option for Delawareans traveling to and from the ceremony.
