The National Weather Service has issued a series of winter weather advisories across the country, as an estimated 80 million Americans are expected to travel at least 50 miles for Thanksgiving tomorrow.
After a relatively warm fall, some regions will experience the coldest temperatures since February.
As of Wednesday, multiple states and territories have received warnings about incoming storms that could disrupt both road and air travel. A storm is expected to form this afternoon over the Plains and Mississippi Valley, moving toward the central U.S. near the Appalachians tonight.
