Decorated floats and iconic, larger-than-life balloons made their way through New York City on Thursday, marking the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

This year's parade celebrates 100 years since its 1924 debut, although it’s only the 98th edition. The parade was paused from 1942 to 1944 due to World War II.
