Snoop Dogg Roasts Bill Belichick and His Girlfriend at NFL Honors
BOSTON – Former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick made his first appearance at the NFL Honors award show on Thursday night in New Orleans, accompanied by his much younger girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, and of course, his legendary Super Bowl rings. The couple caught plenty of attention on the red carpet, and the night took a humorous turn when Snoop Dogg made a lighthearted joke at their expense.
As Belichick, 72, and Hudson, 24, posed for photos, the spotlight was on them, with Belichick sporting his Super Bowl rings and Hudson rocking one as well. The six-time Super Bowl-winning coach made a statement, while Hudson was dressed to impress. Belichick, meanwhile, wore a blazer from the 2020 NFL 100 All-Time Team ahead of Super Bowl LIV.
Once the show kicked off, Snoop Dogg couldn’t resist sharing a joke about the couple. While reflecting on his long-time love for football, Snoop cracked:
"I've been a football fan for a long, long time. I remember back when the Cowboys were good. I remember when the Chiefs were bad... And I remember... what was it? Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet."
The joke was met with laughs, and both Belichick and Hudson seemed to take it in stride. Hudson, born in 2000, was actually born the same year Belichick became the head coach of the Patriots. The pair started dating last June after meeting on a plane.
Despite the playful roast, it was a memorable evening for the duo at the star-studded event.
