As December kicks off, the holiday season is officially in full swing, and Capcom is delivering more than just a balance update for Street Fighter 6 this time around.
They've just revealed the "Buckler Holiday Brawl" as the latest Fighting Pass to hit the game.
This festive battle pass is themed around Christmas and the holidays, with rewards that include Luke, Marisa, and Juri dressed as Santa Claus, while Dee Jay gets the reindeer treatment.
The premium items feature seasonal rewards like photo frames, wallpapers, titles, challenger screen effects, and stickers, though not all rewards follow the same holiday theme. Some of the avatar gear comes directly from the playable characters' wardrobes, such as Dee Jay's headphones, Luke's gloves, Marisa's sunglasses, Juri's phone, and JP's cane.
Additionally, premium pass holders will receive the classic arcade game 1942, and some nostalgic Street Fighter 5 music tracks, including Holly Jolly Beatdown and Frosty Boulevard, will be added for the season.
The Fighting Pass will likely cost 250 Fighter Coins (around $5 USD), and players can earn back their money by completing all 30 levels before the countdown expires.
While many expected a winter makeover for the Battle Hub, that won't be happening just yet. Instead, SiRN M. Bison will be invading the mode as a new super boss, following in the footsteps of Akuma’s previous appearance.
The Buckler Holiday Brawl, balance updates, and SiRN Bison will all go live with the Street Fighter 6 patch on December 2.
