Actress and pop star Hailee Steinfeld is engaged to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, the couple announced on Friday.
Allen shared the news via social media, posting a photo of himself proposing under a floral arch, candles lining the walkway. Steinfeld posted the same image on her Instagram, where she has over 20 million followers. The NFL later reposted the picture, congratulating the couple.
According to Allen’s caption, the proposal took place on Nov. 22, during the Bills’ bye week.
The couple first sparked dating rumors in spring 2023 after being seen together in New York City. Allen confirmed their relationship a few months later.
Steinfeld, known for both her music and acting, recently reprised her role as Kate Bishop in The Marvels and will return as Gwen Stacy in the upcoming Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. She’s also set to star opposite Michael B. Jordan in Ryan Coogler’s untitled supernatural thriller for Warner Bros., reportedly set in the Jim Crow-era South with themes involving vampires and Southern folklore. Jordan may play twin brothers in the film.
